At 435 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking clusters of strong thunderstorms. One cluster was located over Long Island, or near Brookneal. The other cluster was located south of Mike, between Gladys and Hat Creek. The storms were moving east at 15 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.

Phenix...
Red House...
Mike...
Hat Creek...
Gladys...
and Long Island.
