Flood Advisory issued August 6 at 7:39AM EDT until August 6 at 7:45AM EDT by NWS Raleigh NC
The Flood Advisory will expire at 745 AM EDT this morning for a portion of central North Carolina, including the following areas, Alamance, Chatham, Durham, Granville, Orange and Wake. However, another flood advisory remains in effect for portions of Durham, Chatham, and Wake counties.
The heavy rain has ended in the advisory area. Urban and small stream flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
