Flash Flood Warning issued June 26 at 9:09PM EDT until June 27 at 2:15AM EDT by NWS Blacksburg VA
At 909 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain producing thunderstorms that prompted the Flash Flood Warning have dissipated.
However, runoff from the this earlier heavy rain is expected to collect in streams and other low-lying areas, maintaining the threat for flash flooding. Between 1 and 3 inches of rain have fallen.
Flash flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.

IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
