Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

Portions of central, southern, and western West Virginia, including the following counties, in central West Virginia, Clay and Nicholas. In southern West Virginia, Boone, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, McDowell, Mingo, Raleigh and Wyoming. In western West Virginia, Wayne.

* WHEN...
Until 200 PM EST.

* IMPACTS...
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 1055 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated an area of very heavy rainfall across the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Beckley, Williamson, Madison, Fayetteville, Welch, Logan, Pineville, Babcock State Park, Oak Hill, Montgomery, Mullens, Chesapeake, Marmet, Mount Hope, Mabscott, Ansted, Oceana, Sophia, Belle and Chapmanville.
