At 715 AM EST, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Enon to Charlotte Motor Speedway. Movement was northeast at 60 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Steeds, Badin, New London, White Store, Covington, Pekin, East Rockingham, Altamahaw-Ossipee, Staley, and Climax.
