A mixture of rain and snow will continue across portions of the northern Plateau and northeast Tennessee, with mainly light snow over southwest Virginia. Most locations where snow occurs will see less than an inch of snow accumulation, although a few mainly higher elevation areas may see up to 2 inches.
The light snowfall may produce some snow covered roadways by early morning, especially secondary roads, bridges and overpasses, and higher elevations. Drive with caution and slow down.
