At 1245 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking multiple clusters of developing storms across the northeast Piedmont and northern Coastal Plain. These storms will be slow moving and capable of producing localized downburst of very strong winds and heavy rain.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Raleigh, Rocky Mount, Goldsboro, Henderson, Smithfield, Oxford, Nashville, Louisburg, Warrenton, and Wilson.
