At 647 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles south of Glouster to near Athens to 8 miles southwest of Albany. Movement was east at 50 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Athens, Marietta, Belpre, Point Pleasant, Gallipolis, Pomeroy, Rio Grande, Albany, Racine, Coolville, Rutland, Forked Run State Park, Vienna, Williamstown, New Haven, Mason, Washington, Tuppers Plains, Lubeck and Boaz.
This includes the following highways...
Interstate 77 in Ohio between mile markers 3 and 6.
Route 50 in West Virginia between mile markers 1 and 4.
