At 601 PM EDT, a cluster of severe thunderstorms was located near Crozet, or 8 miles west of Charlottesville, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.

IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible. Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Charlottesville, Crozet, Ivy, Greenwood, North Garden, Newcomb Hall, Batesville, Boyd Tavern, Yancey Mills, Monticello, Woodridge, Keswick, Flordon, Shadwell, Barracks, Keene, Overton, Scott Stadium, White Hall, and Alberene.
