The Flood Watch has expired for portions of central and south central Virginia, including the following areas, in central Virginia, Amherst, Appomattox, Buckingham and Campbell. In south central Virginia, Bedford, Charlotte, Halifax and Pittsylvania.
The flooding threat has ended for now. Therefore, the Flood Watch has expired. However, a new flood watch has been issued for this afternoon. Slow moving storms are expected to re-develop during the peak heating part of the day.
