At 1230 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 9 miles north of Milton to Wayne. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Huntington, Winfield, Wayne, Hamlin, Beech Fork State Park, Hurricane, Barboursville, Milton, Eleanor, Buffalo, Ona, Culloden, Teays Valley, West Hamlin, Bancroft, Athalia, Ashton, Salt Rock, Palermo, and Pea Ridge.
This includes Interstate 64 in West Virginia between mile markers 12 and 43.
