Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A portion of central North Carolina, including Davidson, Forsyth and Guilford counties.

* WHEN...
Until 745 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Areas that may see flooding include Brush Creek near Muirfield Road and North Buffalo Creek near Westover Terrace.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 648 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain have fallen.
- Additional rainfall amounts of 0.5 to 1 inch are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Greensboro, Winston-Salem, High Point, Kernersville, Clemmons, King, McLeansville, Huntsville, Lewisville, Summerfield, Gibsonville, Stokesdale, Walkertown, Pleasant Garden, Jamestown, Rural Hall, Colfax, Oak Hollow Marina, Sedge Garden and Lake Brandt.
