A portion of southwest Virginia, including the following counties, Smyth and Wythe. * WHEN... Until 1045 PM EDT. * IMPACTS... Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 741 PM EDT, Minor flooding is ongoing due to between 2 and 3 inches of rain that fell during the afternoon. Creeks and streams in the area will continue to flow at or slightly above bankful levels through the evening. - This includes the following streams and drainages... Cove Creek, Dungeon Branch, East Dry Run Fork, Killinger Creek, Dry Creek, Cripple Creek, Blue Spring Creek, Comers Rock Branch, Cold Run, Dulton Branch, Dry Run and Jerry Creek. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
