Heavy snow. Total snow accumulations of 6 to 12 inches, except 12 to 18 inches for the mountains and the Palmer Divide.

* WHERE...
Northern portions of the southeast Colorado mountains, the Pikes Peak Region, as well as all of El Paso County.

* WHEN...
Until 6 PM MDT Saturday.

* IMPACTS...
Travel could be very difficult to impossible. The hazardous conditions could impact the evening commute. Heavy, wet snow could cause damage to trees and power lines.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
Overnight low temperatures tonight are expected to fall below freezing across El Paso County. Take precautions to protect tender vegetation as well as exposed irrigation systems to prevent damage.
