Mixed precipitation expected, with a majority of the precipitation expected in the form of freezing rain. Total snow accumulations up to half an inch and ice accumulations around two tenths of an inch.

* WHERE...
Portions of north central and northwest North Carolina, central, south central, southwest, and west central Virginia, and southeast West Virginia.

* WHEN...
From 7 PM this evening to noon EST Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...
Some roads, especially bridges and overpasses, will likely become slick and hazardous. Very slippery sidewalks are also possible. The hazardous conditions could impact the Tuesday morning commute.
