At 435 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Mt Pleasant to near Plyler to 11 miles west of Ansonville. Movement was northeast at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Albemarle, Badin Lake, Plyler, Norwood, Badin, Oakboro, Richfield, New London, Uwharrie Haven, and Morrow Mountain State Park.
