At 6:50 PM, a few short lines of showers, with an occasional stroke or two of lightning, were moving east-southeast at 50 MPH across portions of southwest Pennsylvania and the northern West Virginia panhandle.
Along with brief heavy rain, surface wind gusts of 45 to 55 MPH will be possible in the stronger showers and storms along this line. These wind gusts could cause some tree damage, as well as isolated power outages. Remain inside a sturdy structure when this line approaches your area.
