Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
Portions of North Carolina, including the following counties, Caswell, Rockingham, Stokes, Surry and Yadkin and Virginia, including the following counties and independent cities, Carroll, Charlotte, City of Danville, City of Martinsville, Halifax, Henry, Patrick and Pittsylvania.

* WHEN...
Until 315 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Overflowing poor drainage areas. River or stream flows are elevated.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 208 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated the heaviest rain through the remainder of the advisory period will be over portions of southern Halifax County. However, most of the rainfall rates will be under one inch per hour. Minor flooding may be still ongoing over parts of the area. No new flooding is anticipated.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Anglin Branch, Ararat River and Aarons Creek.
