Flash Flood Warning issued July 10 at 5:12PM EDT until July 10 at 8:00PM EDT by NWS Cleveland OH
At 512 PM EDT, local law enforcement reported flash flooding ongoing across portions of central Portage County, mainly just north and east of Ravenna where roads have been closed due to flooding.
Between 1.5 and 3.5 inches of rain have fallen. Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. Flash flooding already occurring.
HAZARD...Flash flooding caused by thunderstorms.
SOURCE...Law enforcement reported.
IMPACT...Flash flooding of small creeks and streams, urban areas, highways, streets and underpasses as well as other poor drainage and low-lying areas.
Some locations that will experience flash flooding include...
Ravenna, Kent, Streetsboro, Edinburg, Windham, Brady Lake, Sugar Bush Knolls and Wayland.
