Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible. * WHERE... A portion of northern West Virginia, including the following counties, Harrison and Lewis. * WHEN... From late tonight through Saturday morning. If excessive rainfall and snowmelt are realized, river flooding concerns could continue through Saturday night and require additional watches or warnings. * IMPACTS... Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - Heavy rainfall on top of residual snowpack will lead to increased runoff concerns. 1 to 1.5 inches of rain is expected across the watch area.
