* At 539 PM EDT, a severe thunderstorm was located near Crozet, or 7 miles east of Waynesboro, moving southeast at 20 mph.
HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Damaging winds will cause some trees and large branches to fall. This could injure those outdoors, as well as damage homes and vehicles. Roadways may become blocked by downed trees. Localized power outages are possible.
Unsecured light objects may become projectiles.

Charlottesville (although it may stay just to the south), Crozet, Ivy, Greenwood, North Garden, Newcomb Hall, Batesville, Boyd Tavern, Yancey Mills, Monticello, Woodridge, Keswick, Flordon, Shadwell, Barracks, Keene, Overton, Scott Stadium, White Hall, and Alberene.
