THIS IS A FIRE DANGER STATEMENT ISSUED IN COORDINATION WITH THE WEST VIRGINIA DIVISION OF FORESTRY.
THE WILDFIRE DANGER IS ELEVATED TODAY FOR WEST VIRGINIA. VERY DRY CONDITIONS ARE EXPECTED THIS AFTERNOON WITH OCCASIONAL WIND GUSTS 40 TO 50 MPH.
WEST VIRGINIA REGULATIONS MAKE IT ILLEGAL TO BURN FROM 7 AM TO 5 PM DURING THE MONTHS OF MARCH...APRIL...AND MAY.
