Patches of dense fog are forming across the Upstate of South Carolina and in the Piedmont and Foothills of western North Carolina this evening. The fog will likely linger through the overnight and into the morning, and may become more widespread.
If driving, be prepared for sudden reductions in visibility. Slow down, use low-beam headlights, and leave extra space between vehicles.
