Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A portion of piedmont North Carolina, including the following county, Cabarrus.

* WHEN...
Until 330 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 231 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated that the heavy rain threat had ended across the advised area, but not after localized 2 inches of rain had fallen between West Concord and Harrisburg. Rapid rises along Coddle Creek and select tributaries had occurred and Wolf Meadow Branch was overtopping Stough Road. Continue to remain wary of rising water levels in the Coddle Creek and Rocky River basins this afternoon.

Kannapolis, Downtown Concord, West Concord, Harrisburg and Charlotte Motor Speedway.
