Urban area and small stream flooding caused by excessive rainfall is expected. * WHERE... Portions of northeast Kentucky, including the following counties, Boyd, Carter, Greenup and Lawrence, southeast Ohio, including the following county, Lawrence, and West Virginia, including the following counties, Boone, Cabell, Clay, Jackson, Kanawha, Lincoln, Mason, Putnam, Roane and Wayne. * WHEN... Until 130 PM EST Friday. * IMPACTS... Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 729 AM EST, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain. Flooding is already occurring in the warned area. Between 0.5 and 1 inch of rain has fallen. In addition, larger creeks may exceed their banks, including, but not limited to: Blaine Creek, Tygarts Creek, and the Mud River. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
