A portion of central North Carolina, including the following counties, Davidson and Forsyth. * WHEN... Until midnight EDT. * IMPACTS... Flooding of urban areas, rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 951 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Up to 2 inches of rain have fallen. - Some locations that will experience flooding include... Winston-Salem, Lexington, Thomasville, Clemmons, Linwood, Lewisville, Denton, Welcome, Arcadia, Gordontown, High Rock Lake Marina & Campground, Sedge Garden and High Rock. ![]() |
