Minor flooding caused by heavy rainfall this afternoon on saturated ground.

* WHERE...
Grayson county in southwest Virginia.

* WHEN...
Until 545 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 431 PM EDT, Rainfall has decreased considerably within the advisory area. However, rainfall up to 2 inches on saturated ground will result in considerable runoff into area creeks and streams. Minor flooding will remain possible for the next hour or two.
- This Advisory includes the following streams and drainages...
Big Horse Creek, Helton Creek, Bear Branch, Guffey Creek, Little Helton Creek, Bridle Creek, Grassy Creek, Fox Creek, Middle Fox Creek and Little Wilson Creek.
