At 326 AM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms near Rock Cave, or 9 miles south of Buckhannon, moving northeast at 45 mph.
HAZARD...Winds in excess of 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor damage to outdoor objects is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Elkins, Buckhannon, Philippi, Audra State Park, Belington, Dailey, Rock Cave, Beverly, Junior, Womelsdorf (Coalton), Montrose, Pheasant Run, Alexander, Eden, Cleveland, Bowden, Kanawha Head, Overhill, French Creek and Moatsville.
This includes Route 33 between mile markers 5 and 35.
