Relative humidities are 20 to 30 percent, combined with west winds of 10 to 25 mph, and gusts of 30 to 45 mph, as well as warm temperatures, the risk for the spread of wildfires is elevated this afternoon.
Exercise caution handling any potential ignition sources. This includes machinery, cigarettes, and ash piles from wood stoves.
Any dry grasses and tree litter that ignite will have the potential to spread quickly. Please refer to your local burn permitting authorities whether you may burn outdoors.
