Flash flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues to be possible.

All of central North Carolina.

* WHEN...
Through Thursday evening.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Several rounds of showers and storms capable of producing heavy rainfall are expected through Thursday night. Rainfall amounts of 1 to 3 inches are expected, with localized amounts of 4 inches or more possible.
