Portions of central, northwest, and western Virginia, including the following areas, in central Virginia, Central Virginia Blue Ridge. In northwest Virginia, Northern Virginia Blue Ridge, Page, Shenandoah and Warren. In western Virginia, Augusta and Rockingham.

From 2 PM EDT this afternoon through this evening.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Flooding may occur in poor drainage and urban areas.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Numerous showers and thunderstorms will move across the area this afternoon and evening. Rainfall rates of up to 2 inches per hour are possible, which may lead to scattered instances of flash flooding where the heavy rain persists the longest.
