At 611 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a strong thunderstorm near Belmont, or 7 miles southwest of St. Marys, moving northeast at 40 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 40 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
St. Marys, Belmont, Newport, Matamoras, Friendly, Willow Island, Maxwell, Schultz, Arvilla, Point Lookout, New Matamoras, Wick, Waverly, Mountain, Hebron, and Highland.
This includes Route 50 in West Virginia near mile marker 20.
