Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

* WHERE...
A portion of south central Virginia, including the following counties and independent city, City of Danville, Henry and Pittsylvania.

* WHEN...
Until 1130 PM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Ponding of water in urban or other areas is occurring or is imminent.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 925 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain due to thunderstorms. Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1 and 1.5 inches of rain have fallen.
- This includes the following streams and drainages...
Bearskin Creek, Banister River, Barker Creek, Birch Creek and Big Toby Creek.
Additional rainfall amounts up to 0.5 inches are expected over the area. This additional rain will result in minor flooding.
