THE NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE HAS ISSUED SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WATCH 586 IN EFFECT UNTIL 8 PM EDT THIS EVENING FOR THE FOLLOWING AREAS IN OHIO THIS WATCH INCLUDES 6 COUNTIES IN NORTHEAST OHIO HOLMES MAHONING PORTAGE STARK SUMMIT TRUMBULL THIS INCLUDES THE CITIES OF AKRON, ALLIANCE, AURORA, AUSTINTOWN, BOARDMAN, CANTON, KENT, KILLBUCK, MASSILLON, MILLERSBURG, NILES, RAVENNA, STREETSBORO, WARREN, AND YOUNGSTOWN.
