Light snow is expected across the higher elevations of the plateau, southwest Virginia, and mountain foothills tonight with snow flurries possible across the valley.
A dusting to one inch of snow will be possible across the plateau through the Cumberland Mountains extending into southwest Virginia. Valley locations across northeast Tennessee and the mountain foothills may see a dusting to one-half inch of snow.
Localized higher elevation ridges and mountains across the valley may see locally higher snowfall amounts up to one inch.
Little to no impacts are expected. However, those traveling across the plateau, Cumberland Mountains, southwest Virginia, northeast Tennessee, and the mountain foothills should use caution tonight.
Even light snow accumulation may result in localized slick conditions, especially on bridges and elevated surfaces.
