Along and near the East River, near Willowton. This includes portions of southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including the following counties, in southwest Virginia, Giles. In southeast West Virginia, Mercer.

Until 415 PM EDT Tuesday.

* IMPACTS...
Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 419 AM EDT, gauge reports heavy rainfall and run-off will soon result in flooding along the East River.
- Flood stage for the East River is 9 feet and the gauge in Willowton is currently at 8.9 feet and rising.
- Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Glen Lyn and Willowton.
