At 732 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated strong thunderstorms along a line extending from near Foscoe to 11 miles southwest of Marshall, and moving southeast at 45 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Downtown Asheville, Lenoir, Morganton, Marion, Spruce Pine, Burnsville, Marshall, Newland, Hendersonville and East Asheville.
Wind gusts up to 50 mph will be possible in these areas.
