The Flood Advisory will expire at 7 PM EDT this evening for portions of north central and northwest North Carolina, including the following areas, in north central North Carolina, Surry. In northwest North Carolina, Wilkes and Yadkin.
Flood waters have receded. The heavy rain has ended. Flooding is no longer expected to pose a threat. Please continue to heed remaining road closures.
