At 1214 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 12 miles southeast of Wise to 14 miles northwest of Bristol Va to near Walnut Hill to 6 miles northeast of Spurgeon. Movement was east at 25 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph and pea size hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Kingsport, Bristol Tn, Bristol Va, Abingdon, Lebanon, Cleveland Va, Walnut Hill, St. Paul, Nickelsville, and Dungannon.
