Flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues.

Portions of southwest Virginia and southeast West Virginia, including the following counties, in southwest Virginia, Bland, Giles, Pulaski, Tazewell and Wythe. In southeast West Virginia, Mercer and Monroe.

* WHEN...
Until 700 AM EDT.

* IMPACTS...
Minor flooding in low-lying and poor drainage areas.
Water over roadways. Some low-water crossings may be impassable.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- At 540 AM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain earlier.
Minor flooding is ongoing or expected to begin shortly in the advisory area. Between 1.5 and 4.5 inches of rain have fallen.
