A thunderstorm with one hour rainfall rates of 2 to 4 inches will move slowly north across Martinsville and Axton through 9pm. This torrential rainfall will lead to some localized street flooding and flooding of poor drainage areas like ditches. Those traveling should be alert and slow down to avoid hydroplaning.
