At 143 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking strong thunderstorms along a line extending from Southern Pines to near Hamlet. Movement was east at 10 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts up to 50 mph.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects.
Locations impacted include...
Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Carthage, Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen, Maxton, and Hoffman.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 30.
