Urban area, stream, and river flooding caused by excessive rainfall continues, with the potential for isolated rock falls and landslides in some areas. * WHERE... Portions of central, southern, and western West Virginia, including the following counties, in central West Virginia, Clay and Nicholas. In southern West Virginia, Boone, Fayette, Kanawha, Lincoln, Logan, McDowell, Mingo, Raleigh and Wyoming. In western West Virginia, Wayne. * WHEN... Until 100 AM EST Saturday. * IMPACTS... Flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations is imminent or occurring. Streams and rivers continue to rise due to excess runoff from earlier rainfall. Isolated rock falls and landslides remain possible. * ADDITIONAL DETAILS... - At 657 PM EST, Emergency management reported some lingering impassable roads across portions of the warned area from prior rainfall. Between 1 and 2 inches of rain fell earlier in the day. - Flooding impacts will continue, but no additional rainfall is expected. - Some locations that will experience flooding include...
