Fog will impact travel this morning, especially across the Alleghanys, southern Shenandoah Valley, and the Virginia and North Carolina foothills. Visibilities will drop to a quarter mile or less at times, but anticipate rapid fluctuations in visibilities while traveling.
The fog should lessen by 10am.
Those traveling should allow extra time to get to your destination.
