At 621 PM EDT, Doppler radar was tracking a cluster of strong thunderstorms along a line extending from 10 miles northwest of Hoffman to 13 miles east of Ansonville. Movement was east at 5 mph.
HAZARD...Wind gusts of 50 to 55 mph and half inch hail.
SOURCE...Radar indicated.
IMPACT...Gusty winds could knock down tree limbs and blow around unsecured objects. Minor hail damage to vegetation is possible.
Locations impacted include...
Hoffman, Pinebluff, Ellerbe, Foxfire, Norman, Blewett Falls Lake, Derby, Covington, and Sandhills Game Land.
This includes Interstate 73 between Mile Markers 26 and 39.
