Patchy dense fog is expected this morning over a good portion of the Piedmont. The dense fog will remain in place through daybreak and begin to dissipate thereafter.
Visibilities will be reduced to less than 1/4 mile through daybreak, and some areas will have visibilities reduced to a few hundred feet. Motorists should use extra caution.
