Overnight snowfall between a dusting to two inches fell across the mountains, plateau, and portions of northeast Tennessee and southwest Virginia. Be prepared for localized snow and ice covered roads this morning, especially secondary and rural roads, bridges, and overpasses. These untreated roads may be slick and hazardous. Rising temperatures and increasing sunshine will improve conditions by the afternoon.
Slow down and use caution when traveling this morning.
