Heavy rain may fall on a relatively deep primed snowpack will lead to an increase in melting. Flows in rivers may increase quickly and reach critical levels.

Flooding caused by rain and snowmelt is possible.

* WHERE...
A portion of southeast West Virginia, including the following areas, Eastern Greenbrier, Mercer, Summers and Western Greenbrier.

* WHEN...
From late tonight through Saturday morning.

* IMPACTS...
Excessive runoff may result in flooding of rivers, creeks, streams, and other low-lying and flood-prone locations.
Creeks and streams may rise out of their banks. Area creeks and streams are running high and could flood with more heavy rain.

* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...
- Heavy rainfall on top of residual snowpack will lead to increased runoff concerns. 1 to over 2 inches of rain is expected across the watch area. Rain rates could be heavy at times. This combined with snowmelt will lead to flooding concerns.
