The combination of continued dry conditions and wind gusts of up to 20 to 25 mph coupled with relative humidity values falling into the 25 to 35 percent range late Tuesday morning through early Tuesday evening will lead to an increased risk of dangerous fire growth.
The state of North Carolina has issued a state wide burn ban.
Thus, outdoor burning is prohibited.
