At 842 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated thunderstorms with frequent lightning along a line extending from 12 miles northwest of Huntersville to 7 miles northwest of Lincolnton, and moving south at 10 mph.
Locations to be impacted include...
Lincolnton, Maiden, Westport, Lake Norman, Boger City, Iron Station, Denver, Ramsey Creek Park, Cornelius, and Vale.
Very heavy rainfall rates up to 2 inches per hour will be possible in these areas.
